What Should a Pay Per Click Management Company Guarantee?

Question #5 - What do you guarantee?
When you ask this question you will generally hear a long pause on the other side of the phone line which will be followed by a long winded answer about why they can’t really guarantee anything (or it may sound good on the surface but if you read between the lines, in essence it does not really guarantee anything and you still take all the risk).
Real guarantees are very hard to come by in this industry and that is for several reasons.
The most legitimate is that by its nature PPC marketing can be unpredictable (even in the most stable environments executed by the most skilled optimizers). If you are working with a good PPC management company they are going to invest a lot of time and energy into your account and the return you will see on that investment will vary. It’s just the nature of the PPC marketplace – outcomes are not completely predictable and results definitely vary. So, even the best PPC management companies cannot guarantee that you will get a specific result (or even a profitable result). That said, they should be able to guarantee something and that guarantee should feel rock solid. In most cases the best guarantee you can get out of a PPC management company is that for the amount of money you invest you will receive a solid list of deliverables.
Note: At Net Return Marketing, we practice “performance-based” Internet marketing. Whenever possible we actually take some risk (put some skin in the game) with our clients. Practically speaking what this means is if you are participating in a longer-term program with us and we fail to meet our projected result, we will give you a significant percentage of your money back.
