Question # 6 - Have you worked with companies like mine before?
A very important question. If you are an Ecommerce company, make sure the PPC company you are considering has done a lot of work with other Ecommerce companies. You want to make sure that whomever you work with understands the dynamics of your particular sales process and what you are trying to accomplish. That said, there are literally thousands of different industries that are successfully advertising using Pay Per Click. If you’ve found a company you like that seems to understand the mechanics of your business and goals, it is not essential that they have experience helping someone who sells exactly what you sell.
For example, if you are selling dog beds directly to consumers using Google Adwords and you find a company you really like who has a good deal of experience with direct to consumer sales through Adwords but has not specifically helped someone sell dogs beds (or even dog products), they should be able to adapt their knowledge to help you succeed in your industry. But, if you are considering a PPC management company to help you with lead generation and all of their clients and past experience has been with Ecommerce, then they are probably not a good fit for you.
