Question #10 - Who will be working on my account? What is their motivation to make sure I succeed?
This question is almost never asked but it is crucial that you ask it. There is a 90% plus chance that the person who will be working on your account and is actually responsible for getting results for you will in no way be involved in the sales process. This is one of the top elements that leads to client disappointment down the road.
Don’t let this happen to you. You should know by name who will be working with you. You should be able to meet them and ask them tough questions before you sign up. You will be trusting this person with part of your business and a good chunk of your hard earned money — make sure they are worthy of your trust. Your optimizer should be nothing less than a battle-hardened, business savvy, “been there done that” Pay Per Click professional. They should be able to communicate with you and answer tough direct questions. And, possibly most importantly, they need to be positioned by their company to see to it that you succeed. The PPC company needs to make sure your optimizer has enough time to really optimize your account and is rewarded sufficiently so that he is personally motivated to see to it that you succeed. Your optimizer will be your partner in your success or your failure.
